We're excited to announce that we’re launching a brand-new Knox Manage console on June 26th PST, featuring a fresh, simplified user experience. Built from the ground up, this console makes it even easier for you to manage your fully managed Android devices. In the future, we’ll be adding more features, including support for Android work profiles and other platforms. Stay tuned for future updates!

What’s changing?
Over the years, Knox Manage has matured in functionality and become somewhat complex for new users. The bottom line is, we needed to make some radical changes to the user experience without impacting those who know and love the original Knox Manage console.
Long story short, we’re keeping the original console and launching a new one designed to help everyone use the powerful features Knox Manage has to offer. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect from each console:
The new console — A streamlined user interface designed specifically for managing Android devices in the Knox Admin Portal. This console focuses on providing a smooth and hassle-free experience around just the essential device management features.
The original console — Our default option, providing the full range of Knox Manage features in a separate tab outside of the Knox Admin Portal. This console continues to offer the comprehensive functionality that our long-term users are familiar with.
What exactly does the new console offer?
We’ve made several major improvements and enhancements in the new console, centered around optimizing the usability of Knox Manage. Some of these improvements include:
- Simplified workflows. We revisited the basic Knox Manage workflows and made them simpler where it made sense. Enjoy a better onboarding experience, improved feature descriptions, and the ability to reuse policies in different profiles.
- Full compatibility between consoles. If you’re already a Knox Manage user, we’ve made it easy for you to switch back and forth between the new and original consoles. Not to worry—settings or configurations you make in either console are saved even if you switch.
- Better integration with the Knox Admin Portal. For a more seamless experience, the new console now lets you manage all your devices directly in the portal.
How do I switch between the two consoles?
To switch between the new and original consoles, go to your Knox Admin Portal settings and select your preferred view under Knox Manage.
